Pur Noire Wineries is located in the heart of Downtown Houston and is Co-Founded by Houston native, Carissa Stephens along with her husband Kenneth Stephens. Married since 2014 and inspired by a trip to Italy in 2016, the couple developed a strong interest in tasting and understanding the complexities of quality wine. In Italy, Carissa deepend her appreciation for wine, understanding wine to be at the intersection of art, history and culture. She also loved the communal aspect that wine provided. She and her husband studied wine together and what started as a hobby for them developed into a mutual passion.
